The Process of Change

(1.) Scripture teaches that the mind can be renewed or transformed and that renewing can occur daily.

… be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (KJV, Romans 12:2).

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day (KJV, 2 Corinthians 4:16).

(2.) Scripture also teaches that this transformation (the process of changing and making new) comes as a result of knowledge revealed.

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him (KJV, Colossians 3:10)

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple (NIV, Psalm 119:130)

(3.) The more we meditate and pay attention to the word (from which we receive knowledge), the more we will see success and prosperity in what we are attempting to achieve, the more we will see change, renewal, transformation.

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success AMPC, Joshua 1:8).

And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear (AMPC, Mark 4:24).
