From one warrior to another, God I say, “Thank you!”
From one ‘ezer to another, God I say, “Thank you!”
From this warrior to THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR, God I say, “Thank you!”
From this ‘ezer to THE ORIGINAL ‘ezer, God I say, “Thank you!”
Thank you for being my help and my helper.
Thank you for coming alongside me and surrounding me.
Thank you that I can rest in the knowledge, the fact, that I’m surrounded by you.
You have hemmed me in and have locked me in for my safety.
You are charging forward in my defense.
When the battle rages, help me to remember.
When I hear the sounds associated with the battle and cannot see any victory in sight, help me to remember.
When my heart wants to faint from fear, help me to remember.
Help me to remember that:
- Deuteronomy 33:26a – There is none like unto God, who rideth upon the heavens in my help….
- Deuteronomy 33:29 – I am saved by the Lord, the shield of my help, and who is the sword of my excellency …..
- Psalm 20:2 – You have sent help from the sanctuary, and strengthened me out of Zion.
- Psalm 33:20 – My soul waits for you Lord; you are my help and my shield.
- Psalm 115:9-11 – Trust in the Lord: you are my help and my shield.
- Psalm 121:2 – My help comes from you who made heaven and Earth.
Lord, please help me to remember that I am ‘ezer and, like Adam I have also been given an ‘ezer. Help me to remember that you are my ‘ezer and I can trust you to never leave me nor abandon me. I love you Lord and go forth this day remembering that this ‘ezer has an even greater ‘ezer. AMEN!
