Proverbs 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. (KJV) It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop [on the flat oriental roof, exposed to all kinds of weather] than in a house shared with a nagging, quarrelsome, and faultfinding woman. (AMPC)
Proverbs 21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman. (KJV) Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife. (NIV) - How does this verse below relate to the two verses from Proverbs quoted above?
Romans 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: (KJV) Do not therefore let what seems good to you be considered an evil thing [by someone else]. [In other words, do not give occasion for others to criticize that which is justifiable for you.] (AMPC) - King Lemuel’s mother spoke to him of the virtuous woman/wife in Proverbs 31. Read of her description of that woman (SEE verses 11-12 26).

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. - Compare Proverbs 31:25 with Isaiah 30:15.
How do these verses relate to the woman’s power of quiet influence?
Proverbs 31:25 – Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
Isaiah 30:15 – … in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength….
