Lord, Please Guard My Focus! (1)

Thank you Holy Spirit for reminding me that my sword is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17) and that, if I am going to win this battle, I must become skillful in it (Hebrews 5:13-14).

Lord, give me a desire for your word. Cause me, just like newborn babes desire milk, to have such a desire for your word (1 Peter 2:2). May your word be engrafted and hidden in my heart so that I would not be led astray (Psalms 119:11).

I release your word in my mouth and thank you that it is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalms 119:105), illuminating the darkness and exposing every crafty scheme and subtle device of the enemy. Every assignment of deception against me is cancelled now, in Jesus’ name. Every illusion is exposed, in Jesus’ name.

Forgive me Father for the times when I allowed Satanic and demonic openings by giving my ear to the adversary. Cause me to know your voice so that I will not be led astray by the voice of the enemy. May I hear and follow your voice only. (John 10: 3-5)

I surrender myself another time to you. I present my body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable, to you. Father, so I can know your good, perfect and acceptable will (Romans 12:1-2). Holy Spirit, please endue me with power from high (Luke 24:49) so that I can do your will.

IN JESUS’ NAME, Amen!
