  6. Revisit Genesis 1:26 and what you discovered about man. Based on our verse for today, Genesis 1:27, should what you discovered apply to both male Man and female Man?

SUMMARY: Man was referred to as both “him” and “them” in the same verse. According to the Biblical account of the origins of man, we are told that man (mankind) was originally created in God’s image; they were originally created as male and female. Mankind was called Adam and, though appearing singular (of or relating to one person or thing), man was actually plural (relating to, consisting of or containing more than one).
